Film it like a pro
Preparation is key
One of the most important things you can do to set yourself up for success is to prepare ahead of time. This means figuring out what equipment you’ll need and ensuring everything works. If you’re using a GoPro, charge the battery and format the memory card so you don’t have to worry about it while playing.
You’ll want to find places where you can get a good view of the action without being in the way or putting yourself in danger. Look at the field or arena where you’ll be playing and pick some good filming spots. Once you’ve got a few potential locations scouted out, do a test run with your camera to ensure you’re happy with the results.
Get creative with your shots
Once you’re in the thick of things and filming your actual gameplay, mixing things up and getting creative with your shots is essential. This doesn’t mean you have to move around constantly – sometimes the best shots are taken from a fixed position – but it does mean thinking outside the box.
If everyone else is filming from ground level, try up high. Or, if everyone is zooming in on the action, try zooming out for a wide shot. By thinking outside the box, you’ll be able to capture footage that no one else has, making your videos stand out.

Last but not least, remember the editing process! This is where you can bring your vision to life and turn your raw footage into something special. So don’t be afraid to experiment – try different filters, transitions, and music until you find something that really works for your video.
